4th of July Dog Edition

The big 4th is right around the corner. As we prepare for the parties, barbeques, beaches and fireworks, keep in mind your pup might not be the biggest fan of the holiday. We’ve got a few tips to keep your pup safe for the 4th of July.

  1. Keep Fido inside: If you’re having people over and shooting off any fireworks, the loud noises can really frighten dogs. Also they can be dangerous with dogs running around with fireworks going off. Make sure you keep the doggies inside if you’re planning on firing up any explosions. You can even invite all your pup’s dog friends and designate a dog-only room…. throw them their own pawtyy!
  2. Keep Fido away from booze and human food: It will definitely not be a fun night if your pup gets ahold of some booze and food that will make them upset. Be extra cautious where your dog is snoopin around.
  3. Make sure Fido’s tag is updated: You never know what can happen, make sure the address and phone number on the tag is correct just in case.
  4. Make fun fourth treats for Fido and his friends: We know you’ll be treating yourself to some delicious BBQ, desserts and more, why not make a few treats for your pup?

Here is a list of dog-friendly and 4th of July themed recipes you should try out.
